How the Treatment Works

Following consultation and consent, the area is cleaned and numbed with local anaesthetic. The lesion is then removed using the most suitable method—typically radiofrequency cautery or cryotherapy. Most removals are completed in one session.

Recovery and Aftercare

Minor redness or scabbing may occur for a few days. Treated areas should be kept clean and protected from sun exposure. Dr. Hans will provide aftercare instructions to minimise scarring and promote proper healing. Multiple tags or lesions may be treated in one session upon assessment.
